Chilliwack Landing Preschool and Kindergarten is a First Nations school that fosters the value of self worth & self preservation through the cultural connection within our children’s family traditions, elder teachings and community involvement. We are an accredited school open to the community of Chilliwack and Sardis.
Philosophy
Our curriculum is all about ensuring our young children reach their full potential through the outstanding care and educational programming.
Programs
We offer four flexible programs, including part-time classes for three- and four-year-olds, and a full-day Kindergarten with a low teacher-to-student ratio.
Daily Routines
A day in the life at our school. From morning Free Play, to Circle Time, plus Outside Activities, through to Bus Departure.
Fees
Monthly fees range from $60 to $85, with Kindergarten fully funded by the Ministry of Education. Subsidies are accepted.
At Chilliwack Landing Preschool and Kindergarten we offer classes for:
- 3 Year Olds Program (Tuesday and Thursday) 9AM – 11:15 AM
The fee for this program is $60.00 per month from September to June. - 4 year Olds Program (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) 9AM – 11:15AM or 12:15PM to 2:30 PM. The fee for this program is $85.00 per month from September to June.
- Kindergarten Program has no charge. Program is Monday to Friday 9AM – 2:30 PM.
- Bussing is available with no charge for the students in the 4 year old Programs as well as in Kindergarten.
For Parents:
- Policy and procedures must be read and signed before a child starts the program.
- All Permission slips must be signed and returned to school prior to the fieldtrip. (a verbal consent is not acceptable).
- Preschool Teachers are E.C.E. educators or E.C.E. assistants. The Kindergarten teacher is BCTF certified.
- Our employees also have up to date First aid Courses and attend Professional Development Regularly.
